There has been growing clinical evidence of the value targeted alpha therapy for treatment several cancers. The work slowed by lack availability key emitting isotopes, especially Ac-225. It can be produced photonuclear reaction, Ra-226(?,n)Ra-225. Ra-225 decays via beta-decay to Ac-225 with a half-life 14.9 days. This paper will provide technical description radium targets and target chamber that would capable producing yield about 148 GBq (4 Ci) from 10-day irradiation 1 g segmented into two four separate encapsulated at beam power 20 kW.
